Vest The World (Vol. 1)
Matt Stark, guitarist for Brooklyn Del & The Revelators, makes the vests worn by the band.
After working together on the band’s visual world, he offered to make one for me and invited me to document the process.
I asked for waxed cotton rather than leather. I wanted the vest to say that I wasn’t in the band, but with the band.
Matt repurposed a duster jacket he’d kept for twenty years and even made a custom pocket for my favorite lens.
The band feels like family.
This is one small piece of that story.
